How to Get Full Range of Motion Back…

How to Get Full Range of Motion Back…

Still don’t have full range of motion in the knee? Is your lack of mobility pretty frustrating? Is it difficult to keep focused on exercise with how much pain your in?

I struggled with this really bad…

By default I’m a pretty emotional person.

If I’m not in the mood to do something, I find it challenging to motivate myself to do it…

Whether that be:

    – workout
    – write
    – work
    – answer emails
    – hang out with friends
    – etc

Before my knee injury, I was always in the mood to go to Judo. I just loved to throw people!

But after the 4 knee injuries and then surgery, there was still all this energy and emotion that I put into Judo. Now because of the knee…I couldn’t do anything with it.

My knee was still swollen and tender
It would hurt to workout and then stay that way for days afterwards

Judo simply was out of the question

I couldn’t find the same joy in any other areas of my life that I did out on the Judo mat. That joy was dependent on having 2 good knees!

The level of frustration and despair I felt was horrible.

The range of emotion went from

Completely depressed to downright rage…

Of course there were glimpses insight and hope but nothing that seemed to last for any length of time.

There was a part of me that died on the ski slope that fateful day in December of 1998 that began making space for a new person to emerge.

The knee served as a turning point in my life that put me in a new direction realizing that I didn’t need to solve all my problems with a “sledge hammer.”

There were different tools available if I slowed down enough to pick up those tools…

One of those tools is called COMFORT.

My body was in enough pain as it was and I realized that more pain wasn’t going to get me out of pain no matter how hard I tried.

Comfort allowed the “flood waters of pain to recede” in my body especially in my knee.

It went completely against everything I’d even known yet it made sense.

The more put my knee and my body in a position of comfort…the more I relaxed and the better I felt.

It turned out to be a very deep rabbit hole to run down…been going on 19 years now!

Looking back though I’ve been able to distill my knee healing process down.

My “Get Moving Again” program is the place I would have told the younger version of myself to start working with right after I woke up from knee surgery.

This online program is made up of 7 videos and 4 audios that focus on the knees, the hips, and lower back along with the mindset needed to deal with all the “mental chatter” that comes with being in pain.

These are the most effective videos and audios that’s gotten the best results for thousands of my clients over the past 17 years.

“Get Moving Again” is the “best of the best” I have to offer short of working with me in person.

This program will teach you how to:

    – Stop waiting weeks for PT to end so the pain will go away, feel the difference in minutes using these 7 simple stretches that will get you back on the court fast
    – Eliminate the mental chatter pain creates between your ears, take 10 minutes to perform the mindset module to clear your head use that focus to be awesome at your job.
    – Forget the tension in your lower back, experience the relief as the pressure drains out of your legs so you feel good squatting again
