My TKR was almost 3 years ago. I’ve had 2 MUA’s and under anesthesia the Dr could move my leg to 120 plus. However it was tight again afterwards. Apparently my problem is my scar tissue. I have heard of some Physical Therapist using an ultrasound devise to break up scar tissue. Do you have insight on this or other tactics to help me. My goal is to be able to ride a bike and not have this constant pain as soon as I try to bend my leg back.
Thanks,
Frustrated

Hi Marie
Your knee has been through a lot! I’m not familiar with the ultrasound device however, I do have an online program that has been successful at helping with all sorts of knee situations like yours. I’d be happy to jump on a call and figure out a strategy with you. Here’s a link to set that up: https://www.thekneepainguru.com/

I’ve been following the program for years. I’ve gone from barely able to walk from knee pain to doing Yoga & TaiChi. I can go up & down stairs one foot on each step. I can get in my bathtub & take a bubble bath, go walking with my family members. Thanks, Bill!

You’re welcome Edith!
