It all started about 15 years ago, when I dislocated my left knee no less than 4 times, and had to have reconstruction surgery. As an avid judo player, I spent practically every waking hour thinking about how I could get out of pain and back on the mat. I tried everything I could think of, including physical therapy, Pilates, massage, stretching, exercise and lifting weights. I even tried alternative therapies like Rolfing, Reiki, Jin Shin Jyutsu and energy work. But nothing could touch the pain in my knee.
I knew there had to be another way. Fueled by my pain and a determination to heal my knees once and for all, I spent 2 ½ years traveling around the world, searching for natural solutions for knee pain.
